In this one-of-a-kind performance, you'll enjoy ancient Hawaiian tales brought to life with reverence and passion. Hear true stories of growing up in the Islands, of local customs and superstitions, aumakua (guardian spirits) and kahunas (ancient priests). Get a front-row seat to the Pacific Paradise through the eyes of a Hawaiian local.

Alton Chung grew up with the stories, superstitions and magic of the Hawaiian Islands. In 2005, Mr. Chung was awarded the first J.J. Reneaux Emerging Artist Award by the National Storytelling Network and performed in the first National Story Night in Jonesborough, Tennessee. He was a Teller-in-Residence at the International Storytelling Center and currently serves on the Board of the National Storytelling Network.
